For those who are interested in teaching with technology but haven't had the opportunity, this compact program offers a selection of tools and principles that actually work based on recent UCLA experience. See what your colleagues are doing with technology to increase student learning and make teaching easier; discuss their results with them in person over lunch; then begin learning the technical skills yourself in a hands-on afternoon workshop Complementary software will be distributed to preregistered workshop participants only.

Attendance at this conference is limited to UCLA faculty.

Workgroup on Academic Rewards for Teaching with Technology
This workgroup will generate recommendations for the campus. Those with experience using technology are especially invited to participate.

3:15 PM - 4:00 PM

Free software packages will be distributed to those who have preregistered and who have attended one of the four hands-on workshops.

This conference is sponsored by the Undergraduate Council, the College of Letters and Science, the Scholarship in a New Media Environment group and the UCLA Office of Instructional Development.
